about the artist

Faith Rainville is a self taught artist based in Los Angeles. With a background in photography, she possesses an extensive collection of print media, including decades of magazines, comics, and other ephemera. She extracts nostalgia from the glossy pages, carefully curating the source material for her collage work. Every piece of paper is shaped by hand, cut with precision, and glued with intention. 

A paper alchemist in the early stages of transmutation; experimenting, refining, and confronting her shadows through the illumination of art.

Her first body of work is 22 piece collection of major arcana tarot cards. With an appreciation for astrology and story telling, these 3" x 5" cards are encrypted with ancient symbols & esoteric lore.
